Please talk about/ look into all the Instagram doctors who are promoting hrt for perimenopause. They all say it’s perfectly safe and even life-saving. I have no idea what I’m supposed to do.

Hello Bbbb. I totally understand your confusion/dilemma. In fact, an OB/GYN in LA published an academic paper recently lauding the benefits of progestin drugs for all sorts of conditions. (see my earlier substack that describes this paper!)

And yes the progestin can take away lots of perimenopause symptoms... but clearly.. these MDs have not seen the progestin study that I have included in my post this AM... as that study has been kept secret (somehow) for fifteen years now. Have your OB/GYN read the Oct 2010 study that was published in Nature. Meanwhile.. if I were you, I would look at what issues might be causing your symptoms.. i.e. have a hormone balancing test... see Zava Labs or another lab. If you have an excess of estrogen over progesterone... Zava may recommend plant based progesterone creams; diet changes; weight loss... Do read my book.. www.bustingbreastcancer.com Lots of ideas to be found there.. I am not a medical professional.. merely an investigative reporter who has lost way too many friends to metastatic breast cancer. Am interested in protecting myself, you and the rest of us!!! All best, Susan
